The mayors of Pittsburgh and San Diego have a photographic wager for this Sunday's Steelers-Chargers playoff game.
If the Chargers lose, Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl will send San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders a Steelers cap, jersey and a pair of skis.
Mr. Sanders must send Mr. Ravenstahl a photo of himself in the gear while holding the skis at the Sea World Penguin Encounter.
If the Steelers lose, Mr. Ravenstahl must don Chargers' swim trunks and a jersey and pose with a surfboard by one of the city's three rivers.

Ok, I consider this weak, but interesting. A truly original bet this time. Mayor Luke can keep this picture forever then and not just the stuff. I hope they post the picture online for us all to see. Hopefully, Mayor Luke will keep this idea and get some ideas for better pictures for our upcoming opponents. I am sure the public could help. What do you think?

  1. the picture ideas they came up with are kind of lame, but i like the fact that ravenstahl is showing some spirit.

  2. I'm not from Pittsburgh. I'm Canadian and therefore the NFL isn't all that interesting to me, but I watched part of the game on Sunday. If I were cheering for a team it would be the Steelers.

I was in Pittsburgh for a Penguins game a few years ago and there was a Steelers game the next day. Being in the city during a game was amazing. The atmosphere was unbelievable.

Any city that shows that much enthusiasm deserves to win.
