Here we go... due to injuries we were expected to get beat bad in this game, but Ben Roethlisberger stepped up and said with his gameplay that losing wasn't acceptable. Maybe it had something to do with us losing to the Jaguars four times in a row or maybe it is because we haven't won a conference road game since 2004. Whatever it was, we figured it out. Ben had an exceptional game gaining 309 yards after a personal best 239 in the first half. Mewelde Moore had a great game with his surprising 99 yards. He was put into a tough position by getting thrown into the starting spot due to injuries to Willie Parker and Rashard Mendenhall. Parker should be back after the bye week and Mendenhall is lost for the season. I thought another bright spot to our game was our offensive line. We lost Kendall Simmons for the season and All-Pro Alan Faneca and were expected to be downright terrible. Yes, they have had terrible games this season, but this game I believe they played well. Ben held onto the ball a little too long causing his sacks, but in his defense, he was getting out of those sticky situations and making big plays all game, so three sacks isn't that bad. The main thing I would like to portray is the fact that we showed that we can win more than one way. That is important for the other teams to see as well as a confidence boost for our team, being as injured as we are. All in all, I loved how we played and won this game.
